Arthur W. Hooper, Jr.


Arthur Hooper is President of Ceruzzi Properties and is a member of both the Management and Investment Committees. Prior to being named President in 2017 he served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel for many years. Prior to joining Ceruzzi, he was a partner for 22 years at the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop LLP, specializing in real estate law representing clients in the purchase, sale, leasing and financing of significant real estate transactions including Investcorp and Starwood. He is a member of the New York and Connecticut Bar Associations. Mr. Hooper joined Ceruzzi Properties in 1998 as General Counsel.

Mr. Hooper is the author of "The Effect of the Connecticut Environmental Super Lien on the Conveyancing and Financing of Real Estate", The Connecticut Real Estate Law Journal, 33 (1985); co-author of "Where the 'Big Boxes' Belong", The National Law Journal (1996).  He has been featured multiple times as a speaker at the International Conference of Shopping Centers law conference. Mr. Hooper has also been a guest lecturer at the Haute Ecole de Commerce in Paris. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College in 1966 and his Juris Doctor degree from Cornell University in 1969.
